Navgraha puja is performed to reduced negative effects of nine grahas or planets. The word “Navgraha” is a combination of two words; Nav means Nine, and Grah means Planets. Navgraha includes Lord Surya, Chandra, Mangal, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, and Ketu.
